HRH The Duke of Cornwall visit on Friday 5th April
As some of you are aware already through local BBC news bulletins HRH The Duke of Cornwall (Prince Charles) is visiting Nansledan to meet the Duchy team and his guests to review the progress at Nansledan and meet the new businesses. (No exact timings given as he is going to other areas in Cornwall)
The Prince will inspect progress with the house builders and Skol Nansledan (the new primary school).
During the walkabout the Prince will also meet Clare Anderson to hear about the Methodist Centre plans, meet a Cornish language expert to hear how they are helping with Nansledan street names, and hear from our new resident Jo Ruxton about all her good work promoting Plastic Oceans.Theresa Feguson has been asked to give a brief update on all the good work of the NCA in our wonderful community!
The Duchy then have a private meeting to review all the new green space and play areas that will be delivered over the next few months, as well as the plans for the High Street. So if you are out and about Nansledan this afternoon who knows who you might bump into.
Aspire Academy is organising TWO parent site visits to Nansledan School on Saturday 11th May. ONE ticket available per prospective ‘in year transfer’ family for now (due to limited availability). LIVING IN NANSLEDAN
“First year at Nansledan! We moved here because we wanted to be part of a great community. Not been disappointed, from the Stret 2 party, Halloween & Snow day. Made lots of new friends & will make many more. Thank you residents of Nansledan you're a good bunch!”
"I found the exact house that ticked all my boxes, here at Nansledan. Not only is my house a happy home but being part of this particular community is delightful. I have made some lovely friends and no doubt will make many more."
"I moved from Sussex last summer, discovering the Duchy development whilst house hunting. I liked the 'Duchy concept', fell in love with the house and bought it. Still happy."
