Originally from Swindon, but having lived and worked in Newquay for 42 years, I can nearly claim to be a local but not Cornish!

I moved to Nansledan in 2021, when downsizing my home, and having always been involved with community groups in Newquay it came as no surprise to people that know me
that I soon became involved with helping with NCA events.

I eventually joined the committee in 2023 and have seen the many changes that have happened recently in order to take on running the Community Centre as well as running the
usual annual events.

My role currently is to do my best to organise the events calendar and try to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy but I am always seeking new ideas.
